Accessibility Statement
Last updated: April 15, 2026
1. Our Commitment
REDA ("Real Estate Deal Analyzer") is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We strive to continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards to ensure we provide equal access to all users.
2. Conformance Standards
REDA aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA level. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more user-friendly for everyone. The guidelines are organized around four principles:
- Perceivable: Information and user interface components must be presentable to users in ways they can perceive.
- Operable: User interface components and navigation must be operable.
- Understandable: Information and the operation of the user interface must be understandable.
- Robust: Content must be robust enough to be reliably interpreted by a wide variety of user agents, including assistive technologies.
3. Accessibility Measures
REDA takes the following measures to ensure accessibility:
- Include accessibility as part of our development process and design reviews.
- Use semantic HTML elements to provide meaningful structure.
- Provide sufficient color contrast ratios between text and background colors.
- Support keyboard navigation for interactive elements.
- Provide alternative text for informative images and icons.
- Support both light and dark display modes to accommodate visual preferences.
- Design responsive layouts that work across devices and screen sizes.
- Use ARIA attributes where necessary to enhance screen reader compatibility.
4. Known Limitations
While we strive for full accessibility, we are aware of the following limitations:
- PDF Reports: Generated PDF reports may not be fully accessible to screen readers. We are working on improving PDF accessibility. In the meantime, all data used to generate reports is accessible within the web application itself.
- Charts and Graphs: Some data visualizations may not be fully accessible. We provide text-based data alongside visual charts where possible.
- Third-Party Content: Some content provided by third-party integrations (e.g., map embeds, external data displays) may not meet our accessibility standards.
5. Compatibility with Assistive Technologies
REDA is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies:
- Screen readers (VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS)
- Screen magnification software
- Speech recognition software
- Keyboard-only navigation
- Browser zoom (up to 200%)
